Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years (LMSW 2013, LCSW 2018)of experience supporting individuals through trauma, stress, and life transitions. I have a strong history of working with veterans, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and those facing complex or difficult life transitions. I earned my Master of Social Work from Boise State University and have worked in inpatient psychiatric, outpatient, and community-based settings. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and thoughtful, comprehensive assessment. I value collaboration and have extensive experience working alongside healthcare providers, schools, and community supports to ensure care feels coordinated and responsive. My approach is compassionate, respectful, and evidence-based, with an emphasis on creating a safe space where clients feel heard and understood. I aim to help clients build insight, stability, and practical skills they can carry with them long after therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experiences. I work to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move at their own pace. I draw from evidence-based practices and tailor treatment to each client’s goals, needs, and strengths. I have a strong focus on working with trauma, crisis, and complex life stressors while also helping clients build practical coping skills for everyday life. Above all, I value compassion, transparency, and partnership, and I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel supported, not rushed.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on helping you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to get out of it, and any questions or concerns you may have. I’ll also gather some background information to better understand your experiences, strengths, and current challenges. The session is paced collaboratively, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Together, we’ll begin identifying next steps and goals that feel manageable and meaningful to you.
