Great to meet you!

Accomplished, integrity-driven Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 25 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Skilled in addressing anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem and identity development, and emotional regulation, with a strong commitment to helping clients gain insight, strengthen relationships, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Passionate about applying extensive clinical expertise, empathy, and a collaborative therapeutic approach to support individuals and families in achieving greater emotional well-being and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is: psychodynamic, relational, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and recurring patterns may be influencing their current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can develop greater self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and build healthier coping strategies. My goal is not only to address current concerns, but also to help clients gain deeper understanding and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a warm, collaborative conversation focused on getting to know them, understanding what brings them to therapy, and learning about the experiences and relationships that may be shaping their current concerns. I will ask questions about their goals, history, strengths, and challenges while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can share at their own pace.

The first session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, learn more about my therapeutic approach, and determine whether we are a good fit. Together, we will begin identifying priorities for therapy and discussing how we can work toward meaningful and lasting change.
