Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC-Supervisor as well as Infant Mental Health Endorsed at Level III, Infant Mental Health Specialist. After receiving a B.A. inPsychology from Northeastern State University, I earned an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach. I have extensive training in working with clients who have experienced traumas of all types. Throughout my career, I have primarily worked with children and adults who have encountered domestic and sexual violence, physical abuse, neglect, emotional abuse, and/or other stressful or traumatic experiences. I am trained to provide Trauma-FocusedCognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-ParentPsychotherapy (CPP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Caring Dads, and Circle of Security Parenting.

My approach to therapy

I meet clients where they are at while using the best evidence-based model of treatment for their specific situation. I believe healing is not linear and each client deserves the space and safety to heal in their own way.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is both of us getting to know the other, to help me understand what brought you to therapy, and to establish goals to be working toward in sessions based on your presenting people.
