Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, recognize strengths you may not realize you have, and find practical ways to help you move toward the life you want. My approach is solution-focused, but I believe therapy should be tailored to you, your needs, and your goals. We’ll work together to find what feels most helpful, at a pace that feels right for you, so you can feel more confident navigating life’s challenges and creating meaningful change.

I work with teens, adults, and seniors with a variety of needs.

My approach to therapy

The primary way I support my clients is to work together to explore your strengths, interests, and personal goals to decide on steps you want to take in your daily life to move in the direction you are looking for. Many of my sessions end with us deciding on coping skills, life style changes, or setting time for reflection to promote meaningful change. Of course, there will be sessions that don't require a solution, but time to process difficult experiences and say what you've been been wanting to say without fear of judgement or insults.

The main approaches I use in session include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy; and more depending on your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be spent talking about your experience and expectation for therapy, and talking about some of the important events in your life. We will explore your goals and challenges that brought you to therapy, and start forming your plan together. What happens after this is your decision. Some people like to dive right into the hard conversations, while others like to take their time in therapy. Some people want coping skills, while others want to make sense of their experiences or just talk things out. It's your show to direct and decide what you want from it!
