Great to meet you!

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing that something feels wrong. It’s finding the words to explain what’s happening. You may feel constantly anxious, struggle to keep up with an ADHD brain, find yourself more irritable than you want to be, or be carrying grief that has changed the way you experience everyday life. Relationships, parenting, and major life transitions can make those feelings even harder to untangle. I provide virtual therapy for children, adults, and seniors, helping clients navigate anxiety, ADHD, depression, anger management, and grief and loss. I also support concerns including family stress, relationship issues, maternal mental health, trauma, OCD, panic disorders, bipolar disorder, physical health concerns, and women’s issues. My goal is to give you room to slow things down, understand what you’re experiencing, and find healthier ways to move forward without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

My approach to therapy

Our work will focus on understanding what’s beneath the patterns that keep repeating, not simply trying to make the symptoms disappear. Anxiety, ADHD, depression, anger, or grief may be what initially brings you to therapy, but those experiences can also influence your relationships, confidence, parenting, stress levels, and ability to navigate change. Trauma, panic, OCD, family dynamics, or maternal mental health concerns may add additional layers to that experience. Together, we’ll make sense of those connections while keeping your individual goals at the center of our work. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to examine how thoughts and behaviors influence the way you feel, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, somatic approaches when past experiences continue to affect the present, Narrative Therapy to explore the stories you carry about yourself, and Gottman Method strategies when strengthening relationships and communication is part of your goals. Therapy will be collaborative, practical, and tailored to what helps you make meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need the perfect explanation for what you’re feeling before we meet. Finding that language can be part of the work we do together. During our first few sessions, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you would like to understand or change. From there, we’ll create goals together and identify practical ways to begin moving toward them. You can expect me to listen with warmth and curiosity, help you recognize patterns without judgment, and challenge you thoughtfully when it supports your growth. Progress may look like understanding your emotions more clearly, responding to anxiety differently, managing ADHD with greater confidence, communicating more effectively, or feeling less controlled by grief and past experiences. My hope is that you leave therapy with a stronger understanding of yourself and greater confidence in your ability to navigate whatever comes next.
