Great to meet you!

Many times in life we are defined by: others, environments, the past, and circumstances that are beyond our control. My holistic approach sets the stage for the individual to assess their story and begin to narrate in a way that strengthens their sense of self. I utilize an evidence-based system by implementing techniques that are: client-centered, integrative and strength-based.

I am a Licensed Mental Health therapist in the state of North Carolina.

My approach to therapy

I work with individuals that are 18 and older. Through my years of experience, I have learned to connect with a wide range of individuals that are experiencing symptoms such as: Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, PTSD, and a wide range of other concerns and diagnosis. The main therapeutic approaches are: EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I specialize in transitional times that raise a sense of uncertainty and begin to create a foundation with the client that creates a sense of stability.

What you can expect from me

Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” — Fred Rogers.
