Great to meet you!

I'’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals, children, adolescents, and families through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. My background includes extensive experience in clinical practice, crisis intervention, school-based mental health, and community-based services.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and have developed a strong clinical foundation in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), crisis intervention, and strengths-based approaches. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and periods of significant change or uncertainty.

Clients can expect me to be warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental while also providing practical tools and guidance. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what you are experiencing and supported as you work toward meaningful, lasting change. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy—we can begin wherever you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to be themselves.

I work with clients to better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical tools to create meaningful change. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and strengths-based interventions, tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and coping with difficult or overwhelming circumstances. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating crises and significant life challenges.

Ultimately, I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to provide support, guidance, clinical expertise, and practical strategies to help you move toward greater balance, confidence, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where they can talk openly about what brought them to therapy. We will spend time getting to know you, understanding your current concerns, and identifying the areas of your life where you would like to see change.

Together, we will identify your goals and begin developing practical strategies to help you manage stress, improve coping, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges more effectively. Depending on your needs, we may use approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and other evidence-based interventions.

Most importantly, I want clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful for you.
