Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Joe Corley, a Licensed Therapist and Mental Wellness Consultant with over 20 years of experience in education and mental health. I hold master's degrees in both Education and Counseling, and my passion lies in helping individuals, especially Black men and women, heal from past traumas and step into their most authentic selves. My practice focuses on trauma-informed therapy, relationship challenges, emotional resilience, and breaking generational cycles. Whether you're navigating personal struggles, relationship conflicts, or seeking deeper self-awareness, I provide a safe and supportive space to help you grow. Let’s do the work together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is empathetic, direct, and rooted in real conversations. I believe healing happens when we create space for vulnerability, self-reflection, and honest dialogue. As a Black male therapist, I understand the unique pressures, unspoken struggles, and generational trauma that often go unaddressed in our community.

I take a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and solution-focused approach, helping clients uncover how past experiences shape their present reality. Whether it’s relationship challenges, emotional blocks, or struggles with self-worth, I meet my clients where they are—challenging when necessary, but always with empathy and respect. My goal is to help you unpack, process, and rebuild so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Let’s do the work together.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a space where they feel heard, challenged, and supported. My goal is to help you unpack the past, navigate the present, and build the future you want—without fear or judgment.

In our sessions, you can expect:

  • Clarity on how past experiences shape your current emotions and behaviors
  • Tools to navigate relationships, set boundaries, and communicate effectively
  • Emotional resilience—learning how to process and express emotions in a healthy way
  • A deeper connection to your authentic self—so you can show up fully in your life

I create an environment that is real, safe, and transformative, where we tackle the hard truths with grace, honesty, and a little humor when needed. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling seen, empowered, and equipped to take your next step.
