Joseph Hodge

I am a licensed clinical mental health therapist practicing in the Maryland area providing compassionate and cutting edge care for people struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have extensive history in treating anxiety and depressive disorders. I am a EMDR therapist with completion of an EMDRIA certified program. I graduated with honors with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a local private college and hope to provide effective therapeutic services to my community.

I specialize in individual counseling for depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have also had training and can perform assessments for Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and provide ESA letters upon client's meeting criteria for an ESA. Techniques, treatment styles, and behavioral experiments are tailored to aid each client in addressing concerns inside and outside of session. I treat each and every client with the care and compassion that they deserve in their journey to healing and reaching specific goals.

We all face challenges in our journey through life that may feel too heavy to manage on our own. My primary goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for a client to feel supported and empowered in navigating each individual journey and experience. I am passionate about helping clients from all backgrounds identify their strengths, explore opportunities for growth, and reach their desired goals at a comfortable pace.
