Great to meet you!

I am licensed therapist with over 10 years of professional clinical practice. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Including co-dependency in relationships and trauma. I have many years of experience with family systems. I hold a master's degree in clinical social work. I am skilled both treating adults and working with younger patients.

In addition to holding a professional counseling license, I have a degree in Professional Communication, which provides a unique foundation for understanding how communication patterns influence mental health, relationships, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach focuses on the dynamic relationship between mental health and communication. Stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life challenges often affect how we communicate with ourselves and others, creating strain within families, workplaces, friendships, and other important systems. As a systems thinker, I help clients identify patterns, understand underlying dynamics, and develop more functional ways of relating that foster growth, resilience, and changes in behavior.

I also have specialized experience helping individuals struggling with substance use concerns and those engaged in Twelve-Step recovery. I understand the complexities of addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and the impact substance use can have on individuals, relationships, and family systems. My goal is to support clients in building sustainable recovery, strengthening emotional wellness, and developing healthier patterns for long-term success.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. I take an active listening approach, creating a space where you can share your story, concerns, goals, and experiences at your own pace. During this initial session, I gather information about your current challenges, personal history, relationships, strengths, and areas where you would like support.
