Great to meet you!

Joseph D. Williams, LICSW, LCSW-C, LCSW is a psychotherapist with over 24 years of experience. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, substance use, and bipolar disorder. Through dynamic, out-of-the-box approaches to clinical care, he helps clients navigate repair work in areas like self-esteem, self-care, and shadow work.

My approach to therapy

My journey as a Mental Health Provider began in 1998, working with teens in the Juvenile Justice System. This experience deepened my interest in trauma's impact on thoughts and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve supported vulnerable adults managing PTSD, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. My work centers on empowering individuals to heal, build resilience, and embrace growth through intentional self-work. I’m dedicated to fostering lasting change in the lives of those I serve.

What you can expect from me

Though the use of eccentric, out-of-the box and modern approaches to clinical treatment; I prompt individuals to explore the importance of repair work in the areas of boundaries, self esteem, self care, and shadow work to address the cause of their current emotions and functioning; leading to lasting emotional transformations and self improvements.
