Great to meet you!
You may appear to be managing everything well while privately feeling anxious, depressed, distracted, emotionally exhausted, or unlike yourself. Perhaps your symptoms worsen before your menstrual cycle, have changed during perimenopause or menopause, or are connected to trauma, chronic stress, pregnancy, postpartum changes, work, caregiving, or other major life transitions.
I am Josephine W. Hazeley, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of healthcare experience. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief supportive therapy for women ages 18–64.
My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, PMDD, trauma-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, and mood changes associated with reproductive and hormonal transitions. I am especially interested in helping women understand symptoms that have previously been dismissed, misunderstood, or attributed only to stress.
