My name is Joshua DeWitt, and I am a licensed professional counselor, and licensed clinical mental health counselor. I specialize working with teenagers, adult couples, and adults through the lifespan. I work with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, peak performance, and injury recovery.
I help by taking a person centered approach, customizing my care for each client and their current situation. In our first few sessions, you can expect to get a clear understanding about how to get the most out of our time together. We will discover the ideal combination of talk therapy interventions, in the moment activities, psycho-education, and homework between sessions that best meet your needs.
My practice is unique because I use my contemplative education, diverse work experience with my one-of-a-kind warm personality, to support clients with highest sense of positive regard. I am passionate about this work because it provides the opportunity for me to support and hold space space for others to learn, develop, and grow into their ideal sense of being.
