Great to meet you!

I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. My first priority is getting to know you, understanding what has brought you to therapy, and creating an environment where you feel comfortable being open and authentic. I want you to feel that I am the therapist you’ve chosen—not the therapist you have to see.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families, and I take an individualized approach to therapy based on each client’s needs, strengths, and goals. Drawing from several evidence-based treatment modalities, I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, identify the changes they want to make, and develop practical skills to support those changes.

Together, we’ll explore what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and how our work together can help you move toward the outcomes that are meaningful to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that effective therapy starts with building a trusting relationship where you feel heard, respected, and understood. From there, I draw from evidence-based approaches to tailor our work to your unique needs, experiences, and goals.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with you to understand what has brought you to therapy, identify what you hope to change, and build on the strengths you already have. My goal is to help you develop the confidence, insight, and practical skills to navigate challenges both within and beyond our session space.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll start by getting on the same page about your expectations and goals for therapy. We’ll review important information such as confidentiality, scheduling, and billing so that you know what to expect and can feel comfortable beginning the therapeutic work.

From there, we’ll begin getting to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and what you feel you need from our work together. I’ll meet you where you are, listen to your perspective, and work collaboratively with you to develop a plan for our sessions that fits your needs.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together to build on your strengths and move toward meaningful, lasting growth.
