Great to meet you!

Know that I specialize in working with men - not because women aren't welcome (they are), but because I've found men often open up differently one-on-one with another man in the room. Over six years in private practice, I've worked with clients navigating substance use they want to moderate rather than quit outright, major life transitions, grief, and the kind of rigid thinking that keeps you stuck in the same loop. I bring a direct, no-judgment approach - I'm not here to tell you what's wrong with you, I'm here to help you figure out what you want and build toward it.

My approach to therapy

Use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as your core framework. Instead of fighting the thoughts that show up, learn to notice them, loosen their grip, and act on what actually matters to you. Expect values work - naming what a meaningful life looks like for you specifically - paired with practical skills for the moments that used to derail you.

What you can expect from me

Expect a conversation, not an intake form read aloud. Come ready to talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping is different six months from now. Leave with a sense of whether this approach fits you - and a plan for what we'll work on next, built around your goals rather than a generic treatment template.
