Great to meet you!

Hello everyone! I am Joshua Lenox (you can call me Josh) and I have been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for almost four years. I have a Masters in Professional Counseling and Pastoral Counseling. In addition, I have a B.S. in Sociology and Anthropology. I work with clients of a variety of backgrounds, but I have great specialization in Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, Adjustment Disorder, Stress Management, and the list goes on. Can't wait to work with you!

My approach to therapy

I am very person centered with my clients. I believe in meeting my clients where they need me to be, which keeps me from treated everyone the same. I firmly believe in unconditional positive regard and building an alliance with trust. It is of great importance to put the needs of the client first but to challenge when necessary only for the sake of seeing clients get the best out of their journey of healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be seen, heard, affirmed, empowered, and validated in each session. My objective is to make sure clients are getting the most from their sessions, even when they are challenging, which is only to promote growth that is healthy. Clients can expect to be themselves without feeling judged or criticized; also, to know they will laugh quite a bit.
