Great to meet you!
I am a listener. It is a craft I have been honing since the age of 15, learning to understand children through play, movement, and art, while supporting families and couples through deep relationship-building and communication. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through both their highest peaks and darkest valleys.
These skills aren't just professional; they are personal. They have anchored my 20-year marriage, helped raise three fantastic children, and guided my own journey of healing from past trauma. My educational foundation includes a Master’s degree in Ministry and Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and a Master’s of Social Science in Program Evaluation from Michigan State. I also bring this lifetime of experience to my role as a Chaplain in the Michigan Army National Guard, where I have proudly served for over 20 years.
