Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois and Michigan with over thirty years experience in the Employee Assistance Program field. I received my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University in 1992.

My specialty areas include relationship challenges, parenting, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and eating disorders. I primarily work with adults and teens.

My approach to therapy

My primary approaches to therapy include short-term solutioned focus, client-centered, and cognitive behavioral treatment. I can also assist clients who desire to explore their spirituality as faith has helped me endure challenges in my personal life.

As a social worker, it is my desire to provide empathy, resilience, and dedication to help clients make lasting positive changes to improve their joy in life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I invite you to share your story and why you reached out at this time in your life. We’ll work together to identify target areas and set goals for your therapy. I provide a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your fears, struggles, and joys. We will work together to help you increase your joy in life.
