Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2023 and my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Westminster University in 2026. My work is grounded in a deep commitment to compassionate, holistic, and patient-centered mental health care.

Clients should know that I care for the whole person, not just their symptoms. I consider the emotional, psychological, physical, and social factors that affect well-being, and I am especially passionate about supporting underserved and vulnerable populations. I believe in creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is evidence-based, collaborative, and individualized. I use active listening, empathy, and a person-centered perspective to understand each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. From there, I partner with clients to develop thoughtful treatment plans that may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, care coordination, and connection to community resources.

My goal is to support healing, recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being. I believe mental health care should be compassionate and empowering, and I work closely with clients to help them build on their strengths and make meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where we take time to talk through their concerns, symptoms, history, and goals for care. My priority is to understand the full picture of what they are experiencing so we can begin identifying the support and treatment that will best meet their needs.

The first visit is also a chance for clients to ask questions and get comfortable with the process. I want clients to leave that session feeling listened to, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead. Together, we will begin building a personalized plan that supports their healing and overall quality of life.
