Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. I am licensed in both Maryland and Texas.

My approach to therapy

I subscribe to the philosophy that our thoughts can contribute to maladaptive behaviors, and how we shape our stories can lead to healing. I utilize an eclectic mix of techniques for therapy that holistically regard your individual functioning and the greater systems that shape us. We must identify what's important to us and ensure our actions are in alignment with that. I follow a client-centered, strength-based approach, capitalizing on the strengths and resources you already possess.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will engage in rapport building so I can better understand you and your world, your strengths and priorities, and how we can work together to address the challenges you are experiencing.
