Great to meet you!

My journey to becoming a therapist began in sixth grade, and my passion for helping people has only grown stronger. Over the years, I've worked with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds, drawing on my expertise in various modalities like attachment theory, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Imago couples therapy, and crisis management. I believe that we are all born with a fundamental need for connection, and when that connection is threatened, it can lead to emotional and physical pain. My approach is to see each person as a whole, understanding their unique experiences and environment to create a safe space where we can work together towards healing.

My approach to therapy

I believe that we're all born with basic needs and are inherently vulnerable. We come into this world connected to others, but that sense of safety and connection can be threatened by emotional or physical hurts, even accidental ones. My approach is centered on the concept of "the person in the environment," which means I consider not just your individual experiences, but also the relationships and surroundings that influence your well-being. By exploring these connections, we can work together to foster meaningful change and connect to your whole self. When we're able to consider things from that complete perspective, we can get some real work done.

What you can expect from me

Through our work together, you can expect to develop a deeper understanding of how your past influences your present behaviors. This insight will empower you to build on your existing strengths and develop healthy coping strategies to manage stress and handle difficult situations more effectively. As a result you should many clients experience a significant reduction in symptoms of anxiety, panic, and depression.
