Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 16 years of nursing experience, including more than a decade in acute care and extensive experience in outpatient mental health settings. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. My clinical background spans diverse populations across Maryland and Washington, DC, where I have provided comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management.

My practice focuses on delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan, with particular expertise in treating depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, and ADHD. I am committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their treatment journey. My approach emphasizes individualized care, cultural sensitivity, and practical strategies that help clients achieve stability, improve functioning, and enhance overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I provide a collaborative, patient-centered approach focused on creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space. I work closely with clients to understand their unique experiences and tailor treatment plans that align with their goals and needs.

My style is supportive, practical, and evidence-based. I combine medication management with education and structured tools to help clients better understand their symptoms and make meaningful progress. I emphasize consistency, open communication, and empowering clients to take an active role in their care.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions, with a focus on improving overall functioning and quality of life.

My goal is not only symptom relief but helping clients build stability, resilience, and long-term wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comprehensive and supportive evaluation where we discuss your concerns, history, and goals. I will ask questions to better understand your symptoms and may use brief screening tools. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication, therapy recommendations, and next steps. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, comfortable, and confident moving forward.
