Julia Coffman

I’m Julia! I have several years of experience working with children, teens, and adults that struggle with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, life transition, grief, trauma, and other mental health issues.

I have a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Arkansas, a Master’s in School and Professional Counseling, and an Educational Specialist in Professional Counseling from Harding University.

I was in the educator field for 10 years prior to moving into mental health full-time. I taught middle school for 5 years and was a school counselor.

I enjoy reading, traveling, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and spending time with my family!

I am a play therapist. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

In our first session, we will spend the majority of the time getting to know each other. We will also discuss why you made the appointment and what you hope to gain from sessions.
