Great to meet you!

As someone who has gone through years of therapy myself, I am very passionate about working with you for your highest good. With a background in meditation, conflict mediation, somatic work, spirituality and psychology, I have a solid toolkit that is at your service. My undergrad degree from Berkeley is in Media Studies, so we will also explore how media shapes us and the current culture we live in.

I work with all different ages, ethnic/racial backgrounds, social groups, nationalities and orientations!

My approach to therapy

Traditional talk therapy not enough? Are you interested to access more of your spiritual, mental, emotional and physical resources? Combining Western psychology with alternative/eastern wisdom, I can help you learn how to handle the enormous stresses life often entails in a compassionate, warm and body-centered way. My specialties include: parts work, relationship patterns, deep family patterns, shamanic counseling, attachment theory. Creative, engaging and efficient, this work will empower you to explore your mind freely. The more we know our own mind, the more we become the driver rather than the driven.

I have over 15+ years of experience. Common issues I've worked with include: family trauma, depression, anxiety/confusion, existential angst, sexual issues of all kinds, recurring behavior or thought patterns, addictions, eating disorders, relationship issues. I'm trained in a type of parts work called Coming to Peace, a profoundly helpful tool.

What you can expect from me

All elements of your life come into play during our sessions: race/ethnicity, age, cultural background, dominant paradigms in society (sexism, racism, heterocentrism), parenting, relationship status. None of us can do this alone and there are few places I'm unwilling to go when it comes to the psyche. And I always bring a healthy sense of humor to sessions!
