Great to meet you!

Hey I’m Julie, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a heart for helping. My therapeutic style is warm, eclectic, and collaborative—I’m here to work with you, not talk at you. Many of my clients are people navigating mood disorders, chronic stressors, and life transitions. I have experience working with BIPOC individuals, varying ages, those exposed to trauma, and those who are new to therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, nondirective, and informative. I pull from a range of approaches including trauma-informed CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and SFBT. My goal is to create relatable and empowering treatment by providing emotional support, promoting psycho-education, and sharing practical tools for growth.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect empathetic listening space, loose structure to each appointment, and ongoing collaborative feedback. They are able to take up space and be comforted in an affirming environment. I am happy to share tangible resources along the way!
