Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Julianna, I am a clinical social worker with over 5 years of experience working with kids, teens, young adults, and families. After graduating with my MSW from Columbia University, I worked with kids and teens with behavioral and mental health needs in a school setting. Since branching into private practice, I have received advanced training in using Exposure therapy to treat anxiety-related conditions. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I work collaboratively with my clients to build coping skills and develop a deeper understanding of their emotions and behaviors.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of evidence-based therapies tailored to the unique needs of each individual, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). By combining these approaches, I aim to empower my clients to face their fears, break patterns of avoidance, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, you can expect a space of openness and curiosity where we explore your goals, strengths, and the support systems that have helped you navigate life’s challenges. My approach is centered around compassion and understanding, providing a non-judgmental environment where you can feel truly heard.

For families, my focus goes beyond working with just one child. We will collaborate closely to understand the dynamics of the entire family system, addressing the underlying issues that affect everyone.
