Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Washington and Oregon with over 14 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I am EMDR-Basic Trained through an EMDRIA-approved trainer and also trained in Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy for trauma work. I also offer Christian counseling for clients whose faith is part of how they want to approach healing.

A significant part of my focus is helping people develop healthy boundaries. That shows up across the concerns I work with most: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, codependency, and relationship difficulties. I work entirely via Telehealth and see clients across both states.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I draw on EMDR, CBT, and DBT skills including emotional regulation and distress tolerance, and I adapt based on what each person is working on. I use cognitive reframing to help clients look at their relationships and patterns from a more balanced perspective.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other and understanding what you are dealing with. I ask questions and I listen. There is no set script. By the end you will have a clear sense of whether this is a good fit. Reach out when you are ready.
