Great to meet you!

I earned my M.Ed in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University and my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Arkansas. I specialize in working with individuals with chronic illness, helping with the the process of adjusting to life with chronic illness, as well as improving quality of life. As a person who lives with multiple chronic illnesses herself, I understand the toll that living with chronic illness and disability can take on a person.

My approach to therapy

I primarily practice from a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach, but am willing to incorporate techniques and modalities that I am experienced in if they will help the client. I also specialize in career construction interviewing and life design.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to find a warm and welcoming attitude from me as we work together to identify and set goals to help you improve your life and well-being. I typically assign homework to be completed by the client in between sessions to continue the progress towards the goals made in session.
