Great to meet you!

I am a clinical social worker with over 30 years experience in working with children, adults, families, and caregivers in a variety of settings. I have spent the last 20 years in a healthcare environment and have a passion for helping the helpers truly find care for themselves. I have a passion for health and wellness and believe that our mental health is the building block for our well being. I am here to support your journey and give you the space you need to slow down, be present, and honor your thoughts and needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, honoring who you are as a person in the context of your environment. I want to understand what is showing up for you now and use various techniques to address your symptoms and goals. Solution focused strength based treatment is a core approach you can count on in our time together. Skill building through CBT, somatic techniques, motivational interviewing, behavior modification and mindfulness practices are key aspects of care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session you can expect for us to get to know each other, establish some understanding of what your needs are and what you would like to see different in the next 3-6 months. If you are new to this process, I am here to have you take the lead and for us to work at your pace and our first session is a great time to establish just that!
