Great to meet you!

I have worked with individuals struggling with a wide variety of mental illnesses. I currently work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a focus on anxiety and depression, life transitions, sports psychology/athlete mental health, disordered eating, body image concerns, and trauma.

As a former veterinary technician, I also have an interest in working with individuals struggling with grief/loss, burnout, and secondary trauma within the medical and veterinary fields.

My approach to therapy

I work best with clients who want a therapist who can empathize with their challenges and has learned how to approach and overcome their own challenging situations through real, lived experiences – not just textbooks. I apply modalities that fit best to the client which may mean insight-oriented, skills-based, solution-oriented, attachment-based therapy, or a combination. Also, adding a little bit of humor in sessions rarely hurts.

What you can expect from me

I work supportively and collaboratively with my clients to create a warm, inviting atmosphere so that we can work towards your goals. I help clients gain knowledge about themselves and how to prevent ongoing repetition of maladaptive patterns of thoughts and behaviors.
