I am an LCPC and hold an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Southern Maine. I have provided counseling for individuals for 14 years. Previously I worked as a mental health case manager in CT, MA and ME for 15 years. I have advanced training in psychosocial rehabilitation working with individuals with disabilities and have extensive training and experience working with anxiety and depression utilizing a strengths-based humanistic approach.

My approach to therapy

I approach treatment with an open mind, eager to understand and hear your story. Treatment modalities I use depends upon each individuals needs. I utilize CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Together, we will identify your goals and discover your natural strengths to achieve them.

My approach with individuals is holistic, person centered, humanistic and strengths-based, seeing my role as a helpful guide as I work with individuals to navigate the sometimes rocky storms and transitions of life. Together we will identify what may be keeping you stuck and formulate a plan to build a bridge towards wellness.
