Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling and a background in helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship concerns, emotional challenges, life transitions, and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds, with a particular interest in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, young adults, and clients navigating relationship and emotional regulation concerns.

My goal is to create a therapy experience where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being your authentic self. I believe therapy should be a collaborative space where you can explore what’s happening beneath the surface while also developing practical tools to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to healing, so I tailor our work to your goals, personality, and needs.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR-informed trauma work, and Gottman-informed relationship therapy. Depending on what brings you to therapy, we may focus on understanding patterns of thinking and behavior, building emotional regulation skills, processing past experiences, improving relationships, or developing a stronger sense of self.

I want therapy to be a space where you can be honest without judgment while also being challenged to grow. We’ll work together to understand where you are, identify where you want to go, and develop realistic steps to help you get there.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re currently experiencing, relevant aspects of your background, and what you hope to gain from counseling.

I’ll also ask questions to better understand your strengths, challenges, relationships, and the patterns that may be impacting your well-being. Together, we’ll begin identifying your priorities and establishing goals for therapy.

Most importantly, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My role is to meet you where you are, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and work with you to create a path forward that feels meaningful and achievable.
