Great to meet you!

When anxiety, panic, or grief starts running the show, it can be hard to remember what steady even feels like. For more than 15 years, I've worked with people during difficult seasons of life, helping them make sense of strong emotions and find steadier footing. I support people dealing with stress, anxiety and panic, depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, and OCD. I also work with men who want a place to talk openly about what they're carrying, and with anyone navigating family conflict, anger, or questions of identity.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm and curious, and I pay attention to your whole life, not just the symptoms. We start by getting clear on what you want to change, then work towards it one step at a time. I draw mainly on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which looks at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect, along with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills for handling intense emotions. For anxiety, panic, and OCD, I use exposure and response prevention (ERP), a gradual, structured way of facing fears at a pace that feels manageable. When family relationships are part of the picture, I can bring a family-focused approach as well. Throughout, the focus stays on practical tools you can use in daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll keep things simple. I'll get to know you, what brought you in, and what meaningful change would look like for you, whether that's easing stress and anxiety, working through grief, handling family conflict or anger, or feeling more grounded after trauma or loss. From there, we'll shape a plan together that fits your goals and your pace. My aim is for you to leave each session with a clearer sense of what's going on and something concrete to practice before we meet again.
