Great to meet you!

Life has pointed edges. Whether you’ve faced an especially traumatic incident, experienced the daily trauma of holding marginalized identity/ies, or are navigating intergenerational struggles within your own lineage, sorting through this pain alone can be overwhelming.

As a mental health therapist, I specialize in trauma treatment and somatic therapy for adults in the LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent, and nonmonogamous communities. Throughout our work together, you’ll connect with the deeper layers of your inner landscape and root yourself in the present to find more peace in your day to day.

My approach to therapy

I have a strong commitment to an anti-oppressive, intersectional lens, guided by a deep reverence for the natural world and the interconnectedness of all beings. I specialize in trauma therapy, utilizing EMDR and other somatic and experiential approaches such as Internal Family Systems. My goal is to create a space where individuals can access their body’s natural healing process, especially for those who haven’t found traditional talk therapy effective. In session, we’ll focus on expanding your internal resources and skills, processing emotions held in the body, and establishing a sense of peace and rootedness.

I also offer ADHD support for those with suspected or diagnosed ADHD. In session, we’ll work on practical skills and provide accountability to tackle challenges like procrastination, disorganization, rejection sensitivity, depression, and anxiety. I use a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and goal-focused approach, using psychoeducation about neurodivergence.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can be a significant and sometimes daunting step, whether it’s your first time or you’re returning to the process. I deeply respect the courage it takes to embark on this journey of change. In our first session, I'll review your history and relevant information to help me know you better. Then we’ll work together to create a personalized plan tailored to your goals, you set the pace and direction you'd like our work to go. This will include either weekly or biweekly teletherapy sessions, and we may supplement with shorter check-ins as needed.
