Great to meet you!

Bienvenidos! I’m so happy you’ve chosen to start the process of investing in you! Our fears, busy schedule, and life can make for easy excuses to leave it for another day, so congrats on starting today. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, daughter of immigrants and first generation Latina. I received higher education at UCLA and have had experience ranging from inpatient medical social work to outpatient, school-based, and field based services dedicated to serving minority communities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe you already have the strength, wisdom, and inner resources you need to create the change you seek in your life. Together, we help you identify what is working, areas for growth, and develop practical tools to support you in feeling empowered and finding your voice! I approach my work with warmth, compassion, and some humor to allow for meaningful conversations and comfort. I use a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, solution-focused, and trauma informed therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

All sessions will vary but you can expect to leave sessions with encouragement and practical tools to implement between sessions. In therapy, we are team, so I like to say that you will take away as much as you put in. I truly look forward to supporting you and being a part of your team.
