I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Skidmore College and my Master of Social Work from Columbia University, where I specialized in clinical practice with families. Since 2021, I have worked as an Associate Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of licensed professionals, gaining extensive experience with children, teens, and families in private practice, community mental health, and high-risk youth in the foster care system.
I am passionate about supporting children, teens, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I value creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I understand that seeking therapy can feel intimidating, and I want my clients to know that I approach every session with warmth, empathy, and respect for each person’s unique experiences. My goal is to help clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions and build the skills and confidence to thrive in their daily lives.
I've always been fascinated by the resilience of the human spirit. If you are working through what happened without judgment and identity what could help you keep going.
I graduated from Pepperdine University and have been licensed since 2009. I have extensive experience working with children and families struggling with anxiety, depression, symptoms of trauma and natural life stressors. I have supervised Intern and Licensed Clinicians and have enjoyed serving diverse populations.
Hi! Are you curious about what therapy would be like? Or maybe you’ve gone before and are back for more? One of my first goals is to make sure you feel at ease with the therapeutic process. You don’t have to worry about what to say or where to start. It’s my honor and duty to ask the questions and listen intently. I’m here for you!
All roads lead to Rome! It doesn't matter where we jump in, if you’re ready, we’ll get there. My POV is through a Neurodiverse lens and incorporates Attachment Theory and C-PTSD with the idea that much of our conflict and distress stems from old wounds & unmet needs that can often be traced back to necessary adaptations needed to survive not only our families of origin but also societal norms and expectations. The gig of being human is hard and de-coding this blueprint can provide a path toward understanding, healing and, fulfillment. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
I'm a licensed psychotherapist with 34 years of experience. I do my best to meet you "where you are" and to offer compassionate presence as you progress through your personal process of self-discovery, self-identification, and evolution.
I'm honored to be part of your journey of transformation. I approach sessions in collaboration, as you learn to free yourself from judgment, criticism, and pain; to change negative perceptions that do not serve; and to experience more ease and peace in life.
More that fifteen years of teaching English and drama at a Los Angeles public high school taught me many things - primarily, it taught me how often people's barriers to achievement are not due to any lack of skill or ability, but rather from emotional barriers stemming from stress, adversity and trauma. So, I went back to graduate school to pursue a new career as a therapist so that I could help in a different way. My training and experience has focused on treating anxiety disorders, PTSD (including Complex-PTSD) and also couples - helping them to navigate challenges and triggers so that they can reset and reconnect.
I have had the privilege of doing this work for more than 30 years, learning along the way and stopping only to learn more.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Searching for therapists in Encino starts with knowing what kind of support you want. Therapists may focus on concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, or life transitions. As you compare Encino therapists, look for training and listed specialties that match your needs. A therapist’s bio can also show how they describe their approach, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, or support for specific life stages.
Encino is a smaller Los Angeles neighborhood, so the number of nearby in-person offices may vary by schedule, location, and specialty. Virtual therapy can expand your options while still letting you work with a therapist licensed in California. As you narrow your search, consider appointment availability, whether a therapist is accepting new clients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading profiles before booking can help you compare communication style, areas of focus, and what to expect in a first session.
Therapy in Encino can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make ongoing care more affordable. Headway helps you search for therapists who accept a wide range of insurance plans, check your estimated out-of-pocket cost before booking, and choose from therapists accepting new clients. You can browse profiles, compare fit, and book directly when you’re ready.
