I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, based in Hilo Hawaii, I provide Tele-Health services state wide. I have over 18+ years of professional work experience in the Mental Health field, mainly working with adolescents and adults. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anger management, anxiety, depression and family conflicts.
My approach to is heavily based on Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, as our thoughts and ideas really influence how we navigate through life. I also involve solution focused and strength based modalities in therapy. Creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore areas of struggle and work together to find understanding.
In providing a supportive and empathetic environment, clients can feel comfortable to explore and challenge themselves with changing thought processes that no longer support their goals and life.
