Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor here in the state of Maine. I specialize in meeting with teens (13+) and adults who need a supportive space to reflect on their goals. I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma, struggle with anxiety, and are looking for support with building their self-esteem. I am trained in EMDR and we can explore if this may be a helpful approach for you.

My approach to therapy

I can offer a space where you feel understood with an approach that is often described as gentle and encouraging. I work best with those ready to explore themselves more deeply and have a willingness to show up curious about your growth. As a trauma-informed therapist, I move at a pace that feels safe for you. Together, we will explore how your past experiences may impact your present, while also helping you build tools to move forward.

What you can expect from me

I keep the first session simple. I will go over my approach to sessions and more of what you can expect in counseling. I really focus on getting to know you and what your needs are in counseling.
