Great to meet you!

My name is Kala, and I am a licensed clinical counselor and mental health therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their unique paths toward healing and recovery. I consider it a profound privilege to walk alongside those I serve, offering compassionate guidance as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue lasting wellness.

My professional approach is deeply informed by both my personal experiences and the close relationships in my life that have been touched by addiction and mental health struggles. As a Christian-Spiritualist, I hold a strong belief in the inherent worth and purpose of every individual. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients can explore their stories, build resilience, and move toward a future rooted in hope, health, and wholeness.

We are not meant to walk this journey alone — and I am here to walk with you.

My approach to therapy

I like to take a person-centered approach to therapy. In session, it will look a lot like you being the driver in the car and I’m in the passenger seat offering suggestions and direction along the way.

What you can expect from me

As a client, you can expect to feel like you have options and potential solutions to try for the issues you are facing in life. As a therapist, my goal is to make sure you feel supported, encouraged, confident, and resourceful.
