Great to meet you!

I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Kauaʻi and feel fortunate to continue calling it home. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2015.

Outside of my professional life, I value spending time with my family and my pack of Shih Tzus. Being born and raised on Kauaʻi has also given me a deep appreciation for our island home and the sense of connection and grounding that comes from being near the ocean. When I’m not working, you can often find me at the beach, in the water, or simply enjoying time with the people and animals I love.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and grounded in creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy is most meaningful when clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work through life’s challenges, transitions, relationships, grief, and personal growth

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I understand that opening up to someone new can feel uncomfortable, so there is no expectation that you share everything right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, challenges, and what is most important to you.

Most importantly, the first session is also a chance for you to get a feel for me and my approach and decide whether I feel like the right fit for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
