Great to meet you!

My experience in the past 15 years as a Mental Health Therapist has taught me that people are most successful in healing, growth, and transformation when they have an active role in the process. I view the therapeutic process from the lens of the 80/20 rule in that I believe 20% of the benefit you will get from therapy will happen when we are actively in session together. 80% of the progress made will happen as a result of what happens between sessions. Therefore, I like to work with clients to identify action steps that can be practiced after most sessions. My solution focused approaches has been effective in guiding clients through the process of change.

I am an advocate for the strengthening, empowerment, and building up of the family unit and the development of individual growth, health, and achievement. I work with clients to achieve practical and lasting change by utilizing a holistic approach with an emphasis on personal strengths.

My approach to therapy

There are 3 pillars to my practice: Strength based, Solution focused, and Trauma informed. I use these three approaches to develop an approach that is unique to each individual client.

What you can expect from me

Initially we will work together to identify the strengths you come into therapy with, what contributed to starting services, and the vision for where you see yourself as a result of having benefited from services. Within 1-3 sessions, we will develop a plan that is unique to your personality and specific goals.
