Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kanisha.

I’m passionate about helping women release what no longer serves them so they can live more aligned, grounded lives. Together, we’ll work on setting healthy boundaries, honoring yourself, and building a deeper sense of self-love. I also incorporate somatic, yoga-informed practices to support nervous system regulation and help you reconnect with your body.

As a new mom, I especially enjoy supporting women transitioning into motherhood, as well as those navigating identity shifts and healing from their past.

I keep a limited caseload because I truly live what I teach, honoring my time, my family, and the care I provide to each client.

If you’re ready to step into your next chapter, I’d love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered and tailored to your unique needs. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support you in gaining clarity, building self-awareness, and creating meaningful change.

I integrate evidence-based and holistic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic, yoga-informed practices to support emotional regulation and mind-body connection.

Together, we’ll move at your pace in a supportive, non-judgmental space.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to go over any questions you may have and discuss what to expect from therapy with me. I’ll learn more about your presenting concerns, what you’d like to work on, and your desired outcomes. We’ll also briefly explore your background and history to help guide our work together.
