My name is Karen Heard, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in social work. I am dedicated, and committed to providing compassionate, client-centered therapy. My approach is creating a nonjudgmental space for individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, relationship issues, and life transitions. I am deeply committed to supporting people in improving their mental health and overall well-being, empowering them to live more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy is centered around helping individuals overcome the challenges that interfere with their everyday lives. I draw from a wide range of therapeutic styles and techniques to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client. These approaches include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
