Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Karen. I want to help you recover, rejuvenate, and replenish. Together we can work to build your resilience so whatever you many be dealing with in life you won't get down and stay down you will learn the skills in sessions and be able to rejuvenate (the act of energizing, revitalizing) yourself and get back up. We need to replenish. I want you to be able to replenish (to restore, to fill up again)!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I will help you to work to explore and evolve into the person you want to be, the life you want for yourself. The tools I used to help you make these transformations are inspired by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused Therapy, and Person Centered.

What you can expect from our first session

I will teach you the skills you need such as emotional regulation, visual imagery, deep breathing, and learn to replace old thinking patterns that keep you from moving forward to replace them with new healthy thinking patterns. We will explore how the neuroscience within your brain controls thoughts and behaviors. I will use psycho educational material to breakdown to help you understand how your brain chemistry really works.
