Great to meet you!

I have over 30 years of clinical practice experience. As an older woman, I have lots of life experiences that I have on hand that allow me to more readily able to identify with clients needs. I a living example of what recovery programs, and having a good therapist can do for anyone. I am the sweet lemonade 🍋 that others helped me to become, out of my own early life struggles. I want to offer clients what was so graciously provided to me. I look forward to helping clients become their best authentic selves.

My approach to therapy

I initially work with clients to establish a list of prioritized goals that they wish to achieve through the therapeutic process/experience. I then proceed to match my clinical practice to a style that I feel matches the client’s capacity and comfort. I always engage the client the planning and execution phases of treatment. The entire process is client based and mostly client directed.

What you can expect from me

At the time of our initial session I tend to gather relevant MH history and discuss any prior therapy history (if any). I then look at generalized goals that the client used to determine they wanted to engage a therapist to address. I share with them my style of working and review what I believe will be each of our responsibilities on the therapeutic process.
