Great to meet you!
I am a licensed clinical social worker with 15 plus years of experience in medical and behavioral health settings. I received my master's degree in social work in 2005 from Howard University with a focus on the psychosocial needs of women.
My focus with women is a holistic approach that considers physical, mental, emotional, social, and environmental factors, rather than treating symptoms in isolation. My belief is utilizing root-cause analysis and personalized care tailored to each stage of a woman’s life leads to sustainable solutions.
Me experience includes addressing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Other topics include intimate partner violence, relationships, parenting, motherhood, pregnancy, preparing for birth, postpartum depression, pregnancy loss, termination, dealing with life circumstances, life transitions, self-esteem, body image, career concerns, and midlife transitions.
