Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of frontline experience having worked in all modalities of treatment supporting individuals affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. I received my HBCU Graduate degree at North Carolina Central University, I also attended Hunter College in New York. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed and faith-integrated, focusing on healing and person-centered care. I provide a safe, respectful, and supportive space where clients can build trust, resilience and hope restored while on the journey of recovery and wellness. Extensive Crisis Intervention, Referral and Consultation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is evidenced-based, trauma-informed and faith-integrated centered on compassion, collaboration and respect for each client's lived experience. I work alongside clients to identify strengths; address root causes of substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns and develop practical tools for healing and long-term recovery. I strive to create a warm, safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, empowered and equipped to make meaningful lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session you can expect a welcoming respectful, non-judgmental environment where we focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your goals, current concerns and relevant history at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I'll explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have, and begin to identify strengths and next steps. This session is about building trust, clarity, and a foundation for healing and recovery.
