Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Kari Harburn and if you're ready for a change, I'm here to help you feel like you again. Most of my clients feel like they're carrying more than most people can see, and getting through the day has become just exhausting. My clients describe my style as warm and open-minded, and I aim to create a space where you can better understand those late night racing thoughts, or what's blocking your to focus, and where you can get real tools to strengthen your relationships.

My approach to therapy

I only use methods of therapy that I've actually seen help my clients learn to thrive. My specialty areas are in supporting people who struggle with or love someone who struggles with ADHD, Addictions to Drugs, Alcohol, Gambiling, Internet, or Food, BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), chronic stress, trauma, depression/chronic low mood, anxiety and emotion regulation such as anger, grief or trauma.

What you can expect from me

If you have ever wondered, "Why is this so much harder for me than everyone else?" you're not alone - and you don't have to keep living this way. As you learn to better identify your feelings and build new strategies, you will gain freedom from whatever is holding you back, and put that mountain of stress behind you. I know reaching out for help is a big step, and I'm here to be a warm listening ear. In our first appointment I'd love to learn about what brought you in, and we'll get to know each other to make sure we're the best fit. I look forward to starting your healing journey together.
