Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and find a greater sense of hope and well-being. I specialize in working with depression and other mood related disorders, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, relational concerns and substance use disorders. I believe that strong, trusting relationships are at the heart of healing and can help us build resilience through even the most difficult seasons of life. It is a privilege to help people recognize their worth, discover their strengths, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective therapy begins with taking the time to understand the whole person. I start with a thorough assessment and focus on building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. From there, I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize their existing abilities, uncover their own solutions, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change. I will bring my experience, compassion, and full commitment to our work together, while also believing that lasting change is a collaborative process that requires your active participation. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel empowered to take the steps toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and the experiences that have shaped where you are today. I’ll complete a thorough assessment to better understand your unique needs, strengths, and goals, and together we’ll identify what you hope to accomplish through therapy. From there, we’ll begin developing a treatment plan that provides direction while remaining flexible as your needs and goals evolve. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and confident about the direction we are heading together.
