Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Karin Lopez, a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. Many of the people I work with experience high anxiety, intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, tics, and OCD. Together, we focus on developing practical skills to face fears, break unhelpful patterns, and move toward the life they want.

I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse communities, including professionals from different industries, expats, first-, second-, and third-generation immigrants, adults who are ready to start a new chapter in their lives, therapists, and some of the kindest and most resilient people.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is goal-oriented and action-focused. We will work together to set clear goals and take practical steps to help you move forward. I value honesty, openness, respect, and kindness, and I’m transparent in sessions so you’re never left guessing what I’m thinking or where we’re going. I like to keep sessions positive and lighthearted, but don’t get me wrong, we will work hard together to help you reach the changes you’re looking for.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and respectful of your culture, values, and identity. My goal is for you to feel truly heard and to leave sessions with more clarity, hope, and confidence in yourself.
